WHO ARE WE?
Newmilns Snow and Sports Complex is a dynamic and evolving organisation dedicated to changing people’s lives. We help people develop confidence, motivation, and employment skills through snow sports. We work with children and adults, schools and youth groups. The most direct benefit of our work is delivered to disadvantaged or hard to reach groups.
To achieve this, we offer recreational skiing and snowboarding as well as children’s parties.
Our staff are role models to others whilst looking after our guests. The right activities are provided at the right time and managed and delivered professionally and always in a safe and fun environment.
You will be the first point of contact to welcome visitors and customers, answering a range of enquiries both face to face and over the phone.
You will meet and greet customers on arrival, confirm activities booked, their duration, location, safety requirements and take full payment for their activities. You will issue helmets, boots and set up skis and boards according to our guidelines and introduce customers to their instructor or party host ensuring guests are fully prepared for their session and understand where to go and what to do.
This role will suit motivated individuals who are willing to get stuck in and support a small team to deliver an excellent service.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Ideally you will be a snow sports enthusiast. We ask that you are enthusiastic, friendly and enjoy communicating with a wide range of people both over the telephone and face to face. You should;
· Be familiar with ski and board equipment (full training provided).
· Have relevant experience in a customer facing environment.
· Be IT literate and confident using Google calendars.
· Be good on the phone and able to understand customer requirements and match them to the correct activity.
· Be reliable and proactive with tasks.
· Enjoy being outdoors and have an interest in sport, health and wellbeing.

· Be available to work weekends and holidays.

PAY, BENEFITS & DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES
We can offer the following;
· Weekend hours and some additional hours mid-week.
· £8.75 per hour
· Free slope access.
